Hi, I’m Wendy! A former classroom teacher, curriculum strategist, and creator of After Recess. I know what it feels like to love the work and still feel stuck. I’ve lived the burnout, the pivot, the reinvention. That’s why I built this platform: to give educators more than just resources, but to offer real options, clarity, and space to breathe.

I’m a tenured educator who made the leap and landed somewhere beautiful. After years of teaching, I transitioned to the corporate world where I’ve found joy, success, and the space to redefine who I am beyond the classroom.

After Recess is my way of giving back. Whether you’re staying in the profession, pivoting into something new, or homeschooling with purpose, I’m here to walk with you.

I offer resources, resume support, homeschool guidance, and real consultation that centers your story, not just your strategy. Need a thought partner? A listening ear?
